Hey it's been a few weeks, so we thought it was time for a bit of an update. It has turned out to be a big update, we made some changes and added some exciting new features. Ok so what is new in NIMIQ 0.9.2 [zip 549 KB]
- Bittorrent Support. Hey and you don't even need to install any bittorrent client to get it working. Guess what, Chaime rolled his own bittorrent module in C# named it Spektr, and stuffed it into Nimiq
- You were sick and tired of watching those 0% progress bars, so introduce Multi-threaded downloads. Through the options menu you can specify how many simultaneous downloads you want.
- Improved toolbar and icons
- Double click or right -click on the progress bar to preview / remove a download
- Drag and drop any feed from your favorite browser
- View download history
- Improved Opml browsing
- Added some new stuff to the option menu
- Moved the default directories for the podCasts and configuration files
- Fixed some bugs and cleaned up the code
- And more
We want NIMIQ to stay lean and mean so we only added the stuff we thought you wanted.

We are very excited about this release and are working on some new ideas for release 1.0. For now download Nimiq 0.9.2 [zip 549 KB] and let us know what you need in the next release. Nimiq 0.9.2 will install over the older version but it might be safer to first uninstall the previous version.
